Questions (and answers) are at the center of the College Bowl program.
The fast-paced game rewards quick recall.
Knowing how to play the Qs is critical to a team's success. One of the best ways to learn this is to learn how to write Qs. We say this often, but most teams do not put in the effort to so so (trust us, it is worth your time).
Teams often call a packet they have played by the content they remember ("lit heavy" or "hard" for example). That's highly suspect as players tend to remember the highs ("I answered that Q") and the lows ("I didn't know that one"). Hindsight has a high (but questionable) IQ, so it pays to know what's in a packet. |
